Illegal Immigration Is A Criminal Enterprise E-mail
Saturday, 15 May 2010 08:03

May Day has a long history of celebration by pagans, Marxists, labor agitators, and anarchists.  It's fitting that kindred spirits - illegal immigration supporters - would embrace May 1st for their own festivities.  Asheville, North Carolina, a sanctuary city in every way but official declaration, was one of many municipalities across the country where supporters protested for amnesty and immigration reform.

Members of Students for a Democratic Society left the comfortable confines of the local tax funded university to exercise their version of justice by helping organize the event.  Though attendance was a disappointment, students from the university, local churches, and other enabling groups enthusiastically voiced their resistance to the rule of law.

In what may or may not have been a curious matter of timing, later that evening another band of social disorder enthusiasts went on a rampage through downtown Asheville.  After exercising their special version of justice by smashing cars, windows, and tranquility, half the group was caught by efficient APD officers implementing a legal version of justice.

Asheville's downtown rampage was a criminal enterprise - much like violating our country's borders and employing and protecting illegal aliens is also a criminal enterprise.  In both cases the perpetrators have developed personal rationalizations for their misbehavior.  We should not buy the lie.

A Grand Conspiracy

It may surprise you to know that Illegal immigration enjoys the persisting support of both political parties, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a host of churches, and bushels of businesses funding this mass illegal migration.  Republicans like the cheap labor pool that comes with side-stepping an honest free market economy.  Democrats like the potentials of another voting bloc that can be exploited just in case the black voting bloc ever figures out their status.

Most school systems spend ten to fifteen thousand a year to educate students.  Tax payers pick up the tab for all children - including those who do not speak English because mom and dad sneaked through America's back door.

Then there are the costs associated with medical care, welfare, food stamps, and other social services.  Though government agencies claim to not provide services to illegal aliens, fraud and fake ID use is rampant and expensive.

Crime is a major consequence of the failure to protect our borders and enforce the law.  Most of the drugs that enter this country come from Mexican drug cartels and illegal mules crossing our borders.  The number of people murdered each month in America by illegal aliens dramatically exceeds combat deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A silent harm centers on wage suppression.   Importing an underclass of 15+ million illiterate workers means that many employers do not have to pay decent wages to compete for American workers.  That means that our country's minorities and poor do not get a fair shot at the American dream - instead, almost as if by political design, they are stuck with subsistence and government handouts.

Solutions

The best place to start is with those providing the money and jobs.  Fines and other accountabilities for employers will have immediate impact.  If the jobs continue to be available, the migration will persist no matter how many blocks we put on our border.

Since the Feds have been asleep at the wheel, Arizona has decided to protect their own back yard.   They're a model of the rest of us - not just in making laws but also being serious about enforcement.

America has traditionally supported 250,000 legal immigrants a year.  We are now allowing one million a year legally and a matching number illegally.  We cannot cure the poverty of the world by becoming just like the world.

For politicians considering immigration reform, it's suggested they simply adopt Mexico's policies.  Though Mexico's leadership has no hesitancies exploiting America's weakness, their own laws are just a little less severe than those of North Korea.

Race Cards and Conspiracy

Whenever concerns are raised with illegal immigration, liberal enablers are quick to pull the race card.  For the American majority resisting illegal immigration, the color of those who violate our borders is not an issue - that they can break the law, use fake ID, escape accountability, find jobs, and milk America is.

North Carolina university system students, SDS members, and other enablers who openly advocate for illegal immigration are pawns in a grand criminal conspiracy.  As with most conspiracies, power, money, and special interests are in the driver's seat.  The big lie is that illegal immigrants are innocent victims - politicians and employers are not exploiting us all - and that nothing can be done about it...
