The Masks of Socialism
Throughout history, those seeking to usurp the rule of law have adopted new and improved jargon to mask their mission of mischief. In today’s America we find an example in the schemes of socialists using the descriptor ‘progressive’.
Students of history will note the similarities between progressives and past parades of socialists, national-socialists, communists, fascists, and others who wore a similar mask. In truth, though the package may have been updated, what’s inside is the same old Kool-Aid.
Progressives, like many make believe conservatives, appreciate the rule of law only when it supports their rule. They love diversity, but only when it opens the door to their kind. Progressives talk about humanity, but are masters at character assignation. They practice ends justifies the means thinking and are even better than most Republican politicians in abandoning principles for power. In short, progressives are repackaged bologna with a self-assigned sense of being elite, enlightened, and anointed – character traits that have more to do with Lenin than progress.

Two of the last century’s premier entrepreneurial socialists, Hitler and Stalin, persistently used propaganda to mask the lies of their brand of despotic socialist. Their model is embraced with enthusiasm by today’s entrepreneurial socialists.
Though conservative pretenders are doing a great job of betraying the American Dream on their own – corrupted liberal pretenders are all too delighted to assist. Efforts to actively challenge illegal immigration are immediately met with false racism alarms designed to distract initiative. Conservative concerns with the use of the treasury for political patronage brings liberal howls regarding the necessity of economic stimulus in hard times. Cautions about unfunded entitlements stimulate accusation of indifference to the pain of others. These and other efforts are designed to conceal hidden agendas. Bandits mask their identity and activities for a reason – rarely one that is intended to benefit their victims.
In duck hunting, decoys are used to distract birds from the guy with the gun. Today’s entrepreneurial socialists are busy distracting people from the truth – time will tell if they’ll exceed their predecessor’s record of 60 million dead ducks...
