The American TEA Party is the most significant political grass roots movement of this century. They may also be the key to the future of our Republic.
Though the Obama juggernaut of 2008 excelled in organization, money, and fanfare, that fire consumed itself with fascinating rapidity. Dedicated to a personality over authentic values, it revealed America’s growing vulnerability to emotional seduction.
Contrastingly birthed around unifying principles, TEA stands for “Taxed Enough Already.” Frustrations with the folly of both political parties broadened this acronym to encompass Constitutional governance, economic realism, and big people liberties over big government controls. In these missions the TEA Party finds traction with a rainbow of disenfranchised citizens.
