Hi, this is conservative candor and I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower...
The entrenchment of please and appease politicians can be traced to one talent - recruiting and retaining mascots. Most elections are won through charm and money - proving that artificial bait works well with voters anxious to be associated with a winning team speaking words of comfort. Using this formula, the Democratic Party has cemented black voter loyalty for decades - even though the black culture, as measured by health, marriage, academic, and economic statistics, has lost ground for that fidelity. Union leaders make especially good use of their mascots. Though the union movement began for good reason - safety - it was long ago corrupted into an organized crime that feeds leadership and special interests at the expense of membership and the country's interests. Republicans under George Bush were masters at making mascots out of conservatives who remained silent while government, spending, and illegal immigration grew faster than under Democrats. Mascots habitually put devotion above principles, truth, and reality. Predators pretending to be sheepdogs delight in that exchange...
