Hi, this is conservative candor and I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower...
The media's capacity to spin the news should never be underestimated. Case in point, the recent attempt by Muslims under a Turkish banner to break the Israeli shipping blockade of Gaza. You probably heard a lot about the crucial medical and food supplies carried on the 6 ship mercy mission. What you didn't hear is that Gaza has ready supplies of both brought in regularly by truck. You probably heard about the commandos storming the ships and killing 9 activists. What you didn't hear was the pistols involved were for last resort self-protection and that the Commando's offensive weapons were rifles firing paintballs. You probably heard about the cruel impact of the blockade. What you didn't hear was the fact that much of the weaponry used by Hamas to rocket and otherwise attack Israel has come in by ships flying under false flags. Though we would all like to believe that our favorite media outlet is an objective source of truth, performance reviews demonstrate a more sincere dedication to information marketing and entertainment. It's been noted that the first casualty of war is truth - the media bias in today's culture war validates that warning.
I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower and you just spent a minute with a candid conservative...
