Hi - this is the candid conservative with today's candid minute...
The union representing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement field agents just did something interesting. By a vote of 259-0, they passed a resolution of no confidence in ICE leadership - calling the actions of Director John Morton and Assistant Phyllis Coven "reckless" and "misguided". 7,000 ICE agents have turned a bright light on the state of immigration enforcement paralysis under the Obama administration. Bet you didn't know that ICE agents are prohibited from making street arrests. ICE detention facilities, per ICE agents, are becoming resorts governed by special interest groups. Whistle blower activity by ICE staff is ignored and leads to retaliation against those who make disclosures or question failure to follow established policies. This kind of talk by federal employees is extraordinary and speaks to desperation. We've known that ICE was doing a poor job on enforcement - now we have a clearer view of why. Illegal immigration appeasement is another Obamanation - we admire our ICE agents for their courage in saying so...
I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower and you've just spent a minute with a candid conservative...
