Hi - this is the candid conservative with today's candid minute...
A Tsunami is a giant earthquake generated wave that arrives with unexpected and devastating impact. You may remember the Indonesian version in 2004 that killed a quarter of a million people. A Tsunami is heading toward America as we speak - it will insure broad devastation. In Milwaukee, they're laying off teachers, but their union is in a death fight to retain prescription coverage for Viagra. This sort of absurdity is common across America as cities are laying off police, teachers, and firefighters because of unsustainable salary, benefit, and pension plans. Worse, many of those pensions are dramatically underfunded and unions are counting on a Democrat rescue plan at taxpayers expense. The Pew foundation's very conservative estimate of the gap between pension promises and reality is 1 trillion dollars. If you listen carefully, this is a trend gathering momentum all over America - our willingness to live beyond our means is catching up with us. We can't outrun this giant wave of debt. We can start getting reacquainted with reality...
I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower and you've just spent a minute with a candid conservative...
