Hi - this is Dr. Carl with today's candid conservative minute...
It's no secret that conservatives have a terrible time with unity. Though the forces of harm are on the march against America, we're too busy fighting among ourselves to effectively fight the bad guys. The left has their compelling message of something for nothing to attract mascots. The conservative message of responsibility, reason, reality, and right may be healthier, but it's not near as much fun. Part of our division comes from confusion on values. There is a decided difference in conservative political values and conservative personal, social, and spiritual values. Our desire to lump them all together is one of the main reasons that conservatives don't work together. Political conservatism has to do with how we run the country. The conservative model of governance centers on the Constitution - a document dedicated to maintaining the liberty that gives us all the freedom to pick our other values. Political values are not more important than personal, social, or spiritual values, but they are importantly different. To be effective, conservatives must unite around our mutual dedication to the U.S. Constitution...
I'm Dr. Carl Mumpower and you've just spent a minute with a candid conservative...
