A friend recently ran out of time. Dr. Ed Martin, a retired dentist, conservative, and principle driven man, has passed. The model by which he lived deserves a minute of mention. Dr. Martin wasn’t into retirement – his mission was more about refirement. In his eighties, he no longer practiced dentistry, but his brain didn’t stop. He turned years of knowledge and experience into a book – “Enjoy Your Natural Teeth for a Lifetime.” If you have an interest in doing so, you might enjoy the practical – not typical message you get from your high-dollar dentist – information Dr. Martin shares. He was also a physical man. He jogged routinely and was active right up until the end of his full and vigorous life. Dr. Martin was a conservative. He had a passion for America, the Constitution, reality, and reason. He genuinely cared about leaving our kids a good world. That’s a refirement to be proud of. You’ll be missed Dr. Martin.
